  1. READ THIS!! IMPORTANT: INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS!!

  3.      1) Decompress the archive ORIGN152.ZIP, to a 
  4. temporary directory of your choice. 
  5.  
  6.      2) If you are not already running Windows, start
  7. Windows. Make certain all other Windows programs are
  8. closed, especially screen savers and virus scanners.
  9.  
  10.      3) From your Start Menu, choose Run and type 
  11. c:\temp\setup.exe and click OK. If your temporary 
  12. directory was not c:\temp, substitute accordingly or 
  13. use Browse to locate setup.exe. Alternatively use 
  14. Windows Explorer to locate your temporary directory 
  15. and double click setup.exe.

  17.      4) The installation program should proceed smoothly 
  18. and the few dialogs are user friendly and self explanatory. 
  19. A folder will be created with icons for the E-Book ORIGINS 
  20. OF MYTHOLOGY and various text files. BE CERTAIN TO READ 
  21. THE TEXT WHICH APPEARS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE INSTALLATION. 
  22. DO NOT SKIP THIS: IT CONTAINS IMPORTANT, CLARIFYING 
  23. INFORMATION ABOUT THE INSTALLATION PROCESS.

  25.     5) The registered version of ORIGINS OF MYTHOLOGY
  26. installs into a separate directory from the shareware
  27. version unless you deliberately alter the default destination
  28. directory to do otherwise. You may safely delete the shareware
  29. version BEFORE YOU INSTALL THE REGISTERED VERSION in all 
  30. situations. IF YOU INSTALLED THE REGISTERED VERSION INTO THE 
  31. SHAREWARE DIRECTORY, DO NOT THEN DELETE THE SHAREWARE VERSION. 
  32. If you do so, the registered version will be disabled and you 
  33. must then delete the registered version and begin again with
  34. a clean installation.

  36.         6) ORIGINS OF MYTHOLOGY V1.52 conforms to the Windows 
  37. 95 Logo Requirements for Uninstall capability. You may uninstall 
  38. ORIGINS OF MYTHOLOGY by using the Add/Remove Applet in the 
  39. Control Panel. See the Uninstall icon in your program folder
  40. for step by step instructions.
